Thank you for your interest in Crabapple Montessori School!
We Look Forward to Introducing You to Our Learning Environment
Our learning environment and services support the whole child and the family. Crabapple Montessori School is an inclusive private school that welcomes children without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Due to the multi-age structure of our curriculum and the individualized instruction, a child may be admitted to our school at any time during the academic school year, subject to availability. A handbook outlining school procedures and policies is provided at registration.
Learn About Our 5-Step Admissions Process
At Crabapple Montessori School, our goal is to enroll children whose families share our values and expectations for growth and development through the
Montessori philosophy. Our admissions process provides many opportunities for families to learn about our school, explore the
Montessori method, and experience the joy of learning in action.
1. Schedule a Tour
Sign up for an in-person campus tour with our Admissions Manager. During your visit, we’ll provide information about our school, staff, and an overview of the Montessori curriculum. We look forward to showing you around and giving you a chance to see the Montessori magic in action!
If you are not local to the area, you may schedule a virtual tour instead.
2. Submit an Application
If you’re interested in Crabapple Montessori School, please submit a completed application form along with a $50 non-refundable fee. The following documents are also required:
- A signed, confidential teacher recommendation form completed by your child’s current teacher
- A transcript for all transfer students who are 4 years or older
- The two most recent progress reports and the most recent achievement test scores (for students in grades K–6)
3. Parent Interview
We ask that all parents/guardians participate in this in-person or virtual meeting. The Parent Interview allows our admissions team to get to know your family and learn more about your child’s personality, interests, and needs. Together, we’ll discuss your educational goals, expectations, and interest in joining our school community. We look forward to getting to know your family more!
4. Child Visit
After the application and parent interview are complete, we invite your child for a 30-minute classroom visit. Schedules vary throughout the year, depending on your child’s age and availability. This special time allows the lead teacher to get to know your child in a comfortable, engaging environment while your child experiences the Montessori classroom firsthand.
5. Admissions Decision
Admissions decisions are based on several factors, including a child’s readiness for the Montessori environment, the alignment of family and school values, and the balance of each classroom community. Admissions decisions for the 2026–2027 school year will be released by
April 4, 2026.

What Our Parents Say
"There are obviously many options when it comes to educating your child. My wife and I feel strongly about the Montessori method, based on hands-on learning and collaboration. Many schools claim to be Montessori, but Crabapple Montessori School (“CMS”) is one of the few schools in the area that is AMI accredited. CMS has teachers that are passionate about their job, which creates a perfect environment to help your child succeed. From an administration perspective, CMS is a pleasure to work with and provides a smooth process starting with tours and on-boarding, all the way to the daily operations. The tuition rates are reasonable and worth every dollar. I would not consider sending my son to any other school!"
