Dania Haider

Head of School

Dania Haider serves as Head of School at Crabapple Montessori School, where she oversees the school's overall leadership and operations, including strategic planning, financial management, and policy implementation. She works closely with faculty to support the authentic implementation of the AMI Montessori curriculum and to cultivate an exceptional learning environment where children, families, and educators thrive.

A Roswell native, Dania graduated from the University of Georgia with bachelor's degrees in International Affairs and Romance Languages. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member, teaching fourth grade in Atlanta Public Schools. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and practiced law in Atlanta for several years before joining the Crabapple Montessori administrative team in 2018.

As the daughter of the school's founders, Maria and Wali Haider, Dania has been connected to Crabapple Montessori for most of her life. However, it was through becoming a mother herself that she truly discovered the transformative power of a Montessori education. She believes every child deserves an education that honors their individuality, fosters independence, and inspires a genuine love of learning. Dania is passionate about preserving the integrity of an authentic Montessori experience while thoughtfully guiding the school's growth to meet the needs of future generations. She is committed to partnering with families and supporting educators in creating a joyful, respectful community where children develop the confidence, character, and critical thinking skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Outside of school, Dania enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and providing pro bono legal services in the community.
