The Toddler Community (Ages 18 – 36 Months)

The Primary Community (Ages 3 – 6 Years)

Designed for children from two-and-a-half or three up to six years old, our Primary (Children’s House) program balances individual growth with a growing understanding of community interdependence. During this stage, children possess an incredible "absorbent mind," allowing them to take in vast amounts of information effortlessly.

Our Primary guides help children develop the ability to choose work freely, sustain deep concentration, resolve conflicts peacefully, and develop self-discipline.

The Primary environment features five distinct areas of activity:

• Practical Life: Refining coordination, care of the self, and care of the environment.
• Sensorial: Ordering and classifying the world through the five senses.
• Language: Moving from phonetic sounds to writing, reading, and early grammar.
• Mathematics: Using concrete, hands-on materials to internalize concepts of quantity, place value, and the four operations.
• Cultural Subjects: An introduction to geography, botany, zoology, science, art, and music.

The Elementary Program (Ages 6 – 12 Years)

As children transition into the Elementary years, their focus shifts toward abstract thinking, imagination, and social relationships. They want to know the why and how of the world around them. Our interdisciplinary curriculum connects all subjects rather than teaching them in isolation. A lesson on botany naturally weaves into history, geology, mathematics, and creative writing.
